Katie Johnson wins ATHE Outstanding Article Award

Theatre Journal congratulates Katie Johnson, whose essay won the ATHE Outstanding Article Award. The essay, “An Algerian in Paris: Habib Benglia’s The Emperor Jones,” was published in Theatre Journal 69 no. 1 (2017): 21–41. This paper was edited by Jen Parker-Starbuck. Johnson is currently a professor of English and an affiliate of Film Studies and Women’s Gender at Miami University in Ohio.
